What happens at a YLSC Teen equity summit??
Each year since 2014, Young Leaders, Strong City has brought together high school students from across the Dallas - Ft. Worth area.
All 9th - 12th-grade students are welcome to join Young Leaders, Strong City, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, for the 10th Annual Teen Equity Summit. The summit is a full-day leadership development experience with meaningful discussions on identity, equity, and organizing for change. The location will be shared with confirmed attendees. What makes YLSC summits special?
Every YLSC summit is designed for students to have the opportunity to share their stories, learn about their identities and build relationships with people across identities they might not otherwise have the opportunity to meet. Our goal is to equip you with all of the tools you need to realize your vision for equity. The day is facilitated by local artists, educators, organizers, activists, and educators.
